Proper warming of muscles includes at least fifteen minutes of lunge-line, round-pen or riding. Warm up
blowing, lower the head and licking their lips. Sometimes a horse that is very comfortable with correct saddle
fit and rider balance will exhibit the above communication early. Please continue working.

The idea time is thirty minutes due to the increased blood flow exercise supplies. Massage also provides an
increase in blood flow equivalent to an aerobic workout. These stretches are done after each massage. In
addition there are several leg stretches that most know, that are not on this video.

The more this routine is utilized the suppler the horse will become. Keeping the muscles supple reduces
soreness, strain and spasm.
